Stuck at BWI. Had a 9:30 flight. Why is it that no gas stations are built with 50 miles of the fucking rental car return places? Or at least it seems that way. I was on the road that the airport is on an hour and ten minutes before my flight was to leave. I needed to fill my rental car (or let thrifty charge me 9.80 a gallon to refill it themselves if I did not return full ) and I swear to God, I circled this fucking place for 30 minutes before finding a station. Gassed and Got to the rental car return facility. There was one bus waiting to take us to the terminals. But apparently the driver's marlboro was more important than getting us to our flghts, as he meandered about the sidewalk smoking, kicking rocks, and basically annoying me. I sat on the bus, literally feeling my blood coming to a boil. He finally decides to do his job and drive us over. I get to the self service check in kiosk. It says "sorry, too late to check you in. please see an agent" So I get in my medaliion/first class line. One agent working the counter. One family of 4 in front of me already at the counter. Apparently they had never flown before, or even been out of the house based on the way their wild kids were running and rolling all over the place in their sneakers with wheels on them. One excruciating wait later, they finally decided to get the hell out of my way. By now it is 9:10, my flight is boarding, and agent looks up and says "its too late to check any bags, and you probably wont make it to the gate anyway" I just looked at her and said in my most pleasant voice ever "Well I will personally like to thank the fuck family who made me miss my flight. What were they doing, refinancing their house while up here?" She just looked at me. I huffed, told her to put me on the 11:40 and off I went to the gate to sit for 2 hours.
Everything was against me this morning. Now I have an awful headache from what I can only assume was my blood pressure rising over the last hour or so. I really need to let other peoples stupidity quit pissing me off so bad and getting me all worked up.
