1. What do you do for a living?
I am a National Sales Rep for a company out of NJ that sells tools and supplies for Specialty Industries. I cover the entire US except for NJ / Ny / and Ct

2. Do you like your job?
I really do like my job. I like the perks of travel. I like working from home and being on the road. It's like working for myself. The only part I don't like is the commroderie of working in an office, and those relationships that are sometimes made. But life on the road is fun, and I am lucky to get paid to travel all over this beautiful country.

3. Did you actively seek out this line of work?
Yes and No. I knew I wanted to be in sales of some sort. I wanted to travel. I did not choose this industry, but it just kind of worked out that way. I'm actually glad to be in a small industry, where it was easy for me to make a good name and reputation in the industry.

4. Is there a dream job you'd rather be doing? If so, what is it?
I would love to be a tv commentator for professional tennis tournaments. Also, a professional photographer

5. When you become dissatisfied with a job, do you start looking for another one? Or do you stay in the job you have until you lose it before you move on? Why?
No, because I know there are not too many jobs out there that would allow me the freedom to work on my own with almost zero supervision or expectations and quotas. I am very lucky

6. And never mind work....what do you like to do in your spare time?
Travel, Photography, and Gym

Well, supposed to be a nonrmal laid back Sunday, but instead I have to pack and get ready for my trip to Arizona this evening. I'm actually going to be flying during the Big Game, but I'm pretty sure my plane will have live tv on it, so hopefully I'll still catch the game. Of course, the Falcons aren't in it thanks to a good old fashioned Ass Whoopin' by the Packers a few weeks ago.... So I guess I'm rooting for the Packers tonight since A) If your going to get beat, it may as well be by the eventual winner, and B) my BFF Nanner is a crazy Packer fan. So "LETS GO PACK !"

Anyway, gotta pack and get my little presentations ready for my meeting Monday and Tuesday in Phoenix and Tucson. Gonna be a long day as I wont arrive in Phoenix until after 10PM their time.

Well, lets see. A lot actually.
So far in January I traveled to Houston for a week, Was snowed out of a trip to Philly and Baltimore, and then went to the office for what was supposed to be a 2 day meeting, and ended up staying a whole week.

Weather played a small part in my extended stay, because the other 2 people due in for the meeting couldn't get in. I believe I was on the last flight that made it into NJ before the storm hit. My buddy NICK picked me up at the airport and proceeded to take me to dinner at Cheesecake Factory.. The place was abandoned. By the time we left, it was really coming down, and that night while I slept I believe a total of 19" had fallen. People at the hotel were having to dig out little paths to get into their cars, and then had to dig to back them out of their spots.
I worked in the office on Thursday and Friday, and they asked if I would stay thru the following week to help with a major project, so I canceled my Saturday flight home, extended the hotel, and stayed. Nick picked me up Friday Afternoon and we headed to Five Guys for lunch. YUMMO!
Saturday was bored beyone belief. No one to hang with, and the weather was a little cruddy. I had the hotel shuttle take me to Walmart and bought some clothes, undewear, and toiletries to last me the extra days. I had also been fending off a cold and this wet cold weather was bringing it back twice as strong.
Sunday was sunny but cool, so I headed in NYC and got 9th row seats to see BIlly Elliott on Broadway. My God, So Amazing. I loved it.
Had Dinner at Chevys in TImes Square, and then was going to head to RockBar for some Bearfun, but decided to get back to the hotel before dark, since I have never done public transportation, and I was not wanting to get lost in the big city on the wrong train.
Monday I paid for my day in NYC as I was sicker than sick, and unable to get out of bed once I laid down. Awful. Nothing worst than being sick on the road.
Tuesday, Dinner with Nick ( see picture ) and Ed and packed up in hopes I would get home on Wednesday, which I did. --------------- >>> click for larger version

I always dread going into the office, and then once I go I realize its not so bad and they really do like and appreciate me. Getting to see Nanner makes it so much more fun. We have become great friends, and I think Ed is warming up to me little by little. haha

Now preparing to go to Phoenix on Sunday night. At least it will be warm !!

I love my puppy dog. Greg snapped a pic of me giving him a little smooch on the nose when he jumped on back of couch to see me as I walked by. I made it part of my 365 day project on FLICKR.

not much to post. Holidays = craziness.
Work is slow, and that's ok. No travel until Jan 4th. Nice !
Flew over 78,000 miles this year, on 63 flights. Thats a lot of recirculated air in my lungs. haha

WIshing everyone out there a very merry christmas, happy holidays, kick ass kwanza, whatever you celebrate. Make it memorable.

Our Neighborhood decided to do Halloween tonight ( the 30th ) so we got the front porch and walk way decorated this afternoon. Our neighborhood is one of those that goes all out. People come here to trick or treat. I was hoping since we had switched the night up maybe not so many kids... I believe we had around 250 tonight. It was madness.

We have huge trucks full of kids in the back go thru, hayrides being pulled behind tractors, and golf carts going up and down the streets. People have scary music, fog machines, bon fires. It's kinda cool.

We were super busy giving out candy all night long. I enjoyed it. I like speaking to the neighbors, and everyone compliments us on the decorations. I have to admit a part of me wishes I was out, dressed up, at a party or at a bar or club, enjoying the company of adults and adult beverages, and not wishing 3 year olds " happy halloween " over an over again. A couple of besties were having a halloween party tonight, and we were unable to attend, and then another of my BF's was headed out for a night on the town, and a part of me really wanted to hang with him. But Its kind of a tradition here, so we stick to form.

So Happy Halloween to all my friends out there both tonight and tomorrow ( the actual halloween day ) Have Fun, Be Safe, and know I'm with you guys in spirit no matter what or where you are.

Had a nice week in Southern California last week. Greg traveled with me this trip and we Started on Sunday flying into L A and drove down the Pacific Highway to San Diego for a couple of days. Then drove back up to L A. Got most of my work done by Wednesday so Thursday after 1 meeting we headed to Santa Monica to the Pier, then to Venus and Muscle beach, before driving to Malibu to catch the sunset. Seeing these houses in Malibu, sitting right on the beach, makes me wonder if my dream of ever living on or near the beach will happen. I can only hope. It doesn't have to be Malibu. Maybe Ft Lauderdale :-), I love that area too for numerous reasons !!

Had a pretty long day today. Woke up at 5:30 AM for a 8:20 flight from Atlanta to LAX, and then drive to San Diego. Greg is traveling with me this week so at least I have someone to talk to and spend time with as it gets real lonely on the road every week.
We made it to LAX early, very smooth flight. Got our Rental Car, and headed down the scenic Pacific Coast Highway to do some sight seeing. After a quick stop at the first IN & OUT BURGER we came upon, we continued, and saw some beautiful beaches and scenery along the way. I snapped a few pics which will be on my Facebook or Flickr soon.
Arrived in SD around dusk, went to dinner, and a quick grocery store run. Now just coming in from a quick dip int the pool and a relaxing few moments in the hot tub before bed. Been a good day.

Tomorrow will see a couple of customers and then do some more sight seeing around San Diego as well.
